How to set up your andriod phone, in this case Sony Ericsson xperia 10, to synk with Lotus traveler.

This example is on how to synk to Lotus Traveler server ( version 8.5.1.2)  on Blekinge Institute of Technology, but i guess that it could be usefull for other servers aswell. My TouchDown version is 5.1.0030.

First download and install the software "touch down" from NitroDesk on your phone.
It´s a Trial Edition free for 5 days, It costs only $19,99 so if it works on your phone buy it.


 ACCOUNT:
- Connection mode = Active sync ONLY
- Login i ID is your email address
- Check "This is my email address"
- Type your password
- Choose your language






CONNECTION:
- Server name: traveler.yourdomain.com/servlet/traveler
- Check "Uses SSL"
- Check "Fetch and trust certificate". The certificate will be installed.











ADVANCED:
- Choose how often your email should be checked
- For how many days your email should be synchronized
- For how many days your Appointments should be synchronized











At the bottom off the ADVANCED tab when you scroll down click on "Choose folder"















Uncheck the "inbox" folder if you don´t want to syncronize your email. Or check thoose folders that you want to synchronize with your phone

  3. I have tried the built in Exchange Sync on HTC Hero with Android 2.1 custom rom. It Works!

    For anybody who want to try this, use same username and servername as described above in the guide.

  6. rschulz...Maybee you have to wait for 10-20 minutes for it to work. I reinstalled my app now and it took about 20 minutes for it to work.
